FOLIO
Risk Disclosure
Last updated August 11, 2026
Using FOLIO and any related blockchain products involves significant risk. You can lose some or all of the value you commit. This disclosure is a summary for product users; it is not exhaustive and is not investment, legal, or tax advice. Read our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy as well.
No investment advice
Content on FOLIO (including Folio compositions, prices, charts, leaderboards, social posts, and educational copy) is for informational purposes only. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset, or an offer of securities.
Market and volatility risk
Crypto assets and tokenized equities can move sharply in short periods. Past performance does not predict future results. Liquidity can disappear. Oracles, display prices, and exchange prices can diverge.
Smart-contract and protocol risk
On-chain funds, bonds, routers, and related contracts may contain bugs, economic design flaws, or be exploited. Upgrades, governance changes, or factory versions can alter behavior. Audits (if any) reduce but do not eliminate risk.
Wallet and key risk
You control your wallet. Loss of keys or seed phrases, phishing, malware, and mistaken approvals can permanently lose funds. FOLIO cannot reverse blockchain transactions or recover private keys.
Network and infrastructure risk
Blockchains, RPCs, bridges, indexers, and hosting providers can fail, censor, reorg, or delay. Gas costs can spike. A transaction you intend may fail, stick, or execute at a worse price than displayed.
Product and data risk
FOLIO may show incomplete, stale, or incorrect data (including NAV, prices, and balances), especially outside market hours or when feeds are unavailable. UI bugs can mislead. Always verify critical details in your wallet and on-chain before confirming.
Regulatory and access risk
Laws around digital assets, tokenized stocks, and fundraising differ by jurisdiction and change over time. Features may be unavailable where you live. You are responsible for determining whether you may use FOLIO.
Pre-launch and experimental status
During pre-launch, features may change or disappear without notice. Waitlist status does not create any right to future access, airdrops, or returns. Test environments and forks can reset; do not treat demo balances as real value.
Only risk what you can afford to lose
Do not use funds you need for living expenses. If you do not understand the risks, do not participate. Consider independent professional advice before using any live trading or fundraising features.
